You're doing everything right — and it's still so hard.

Picky eating isn't a phase for every child. For some families, mealtimes mean tears, negotiations, and exhaustion — every single day. You deserve real support, not just “keep offering it.”

My child eats only 5 foods.

You're not alone — and there's a reason this happens. Understanding the why is the first step.

Structured & proven

The Science Behind It

ThriveTable is built on two proven approaches used by feeding therapists around the world.

Sensory Integration

Many children who struggle with eating aren't being picky — they're overwhelmed. Their nervous system processes food textures, smells, and temperatures differently. Sensory integration therapy helps children gradually build tolerance and comfort with new sensory experiences, making mealtimes feel safe instead of stressful.

Food Chaining

Food chaining is a gentle, step-by-step method that starts with foods your child already accepts and slowly bridges to new ones. Rather than pressuring children to try something completely unfamiliar, food chaining builds on what they love — creating a natural path toward a wider, more varied diet.

ThriveTable content is created by a licensed occupational therapist and is intended for educational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical or therapeutic advice.

Who We're For

ThriveTable was built for families ready for a gentler, science-backed approach to mealtimes.

ThriveTable was created for families navigating picky and selective eating. Our approach is neuro-affirming and rooted in the belief that children aren't being difficult — they are responding to how their nervous system experiences food.

We proudly support neurodivergent children, including autistic children and those with sensory differences. At the same time, every child has a sensory system — so the strategies here can help all children, not just those with diagnoses.

Whether your child:

  • eats only a few preferred foods
  • struggles with textures or smells
  • feels overwhelmed by new foods
  • or just needs more confidence trying something new

Our goal is simple: to give parents practical tools that respect each child's unique sensory needs while helping families build calmer, more positive mealtimes.

Because every child deserves to feel safe with food — and every parent deserves support.

Steph

Occupational Therapist & Pediatric Feeding Specialist

Hi, I'm Steph — an occupational therapist who specializes in pediatric feeding therapy. I work with young children and families in early intervention and home settings, supporting them as they navigate picky and selective eating.

I created ThriveTable because I saw how many families were struggling without access to consistent, affordable support — and as a mom, I know firsthand how overwhelming mealtimes can feel. My goal is to give every parent the tools to understand their child's sensory needs and feel confident guiding their child's feeding journey — right from home.

Every resource in ThriveTable is rooted in real therapy techniques and real-world parenting. You've got this, and I'm here to help.
